In power plant desulfurization projects, a unique ammonia desulfurization process is generally used. The core of this process is to use a specific concentration of ammonia water as an absorbent to efficiently remove sulfur dioxide from flue gas. To ensure the smooth progress of this process, the concentration and flow management of ammonia water are particularly crucial. These factors not only affect the efficiency of desulfurization, but also directly affect the recovery and utilization rate of ammonia, ammonia escape value, and the quality of by-product ammonium sulfate.
In the past, we used manual sampling and testing to detect ammonia concentration, but this method was inefficient and had certain safety risks, which could no longer meet modern automated production and increasingly strict environmental requirements. Therefore, many power plants now choose plug-in online ammonia concentration meters for desulfurization, which can monitor ammonia concentration in real time and accurately. The measurement value of the ammonia concentration meter has almost no deviation from the sampling test value, perfectly meeting the automation requirements of the desulfurization system.

After using an ammonia concentration meter, the entire desulfurization device can ensure that the desulfurization efficiency is not less than 98.5% during any operating period. All performance indicators meet or exceed the design standards.
Moreover, in the process of ammonia preparation, the ammonia concentration meter also plays an important role. This instrument is suitable for liquids in various states, whether they are flowing or stationary, and can be installed and used in pipelines or tanks. Simply insert it into the liquid to immediately display the reading. Through a 4-20mA signal output, we can also achieve remote calibration and real-time monitoring. This not only greatly improves production efficiency, but also further ensures the excellent quality of products, providing strong support for the sustainable development of power plants.
